A good crowd was on hand at the Rooftop Project Open house last Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at 7pm. A presentation with power point slides was followed by a question and answer session.

The architectural design and construction schedule was presented by Bill Kaufman, the principal Architect with WEsketch in Millington NJ. Fundraising Committee chairman Rick Wolffe reviewed the status of the Capital Campaign and the goal of raising $1.2 million and noted that the campaign would end when the Rooftop was completed and the second floor ballroom and existing bar were fully renovated.

The capital campaign has several levels of sponsorship in which all members can participate.  At the meeting, Bob Kautzmann presented Rick an envelope full of checks totaling over $10,000 on behalf of the Chatham Chess Club.

The Summit Elks is offering the opportunity to donate to the Rooftop capital campaign to both members and non-members. To learn more, visit our Rooftop Project page, or contact the Rooftop Committee.

We need everyone's help to make this project a success!
