Construction

Demolition work and reinforcement of the roof is nearing completion. The shaft of the elevator from the second floor up to the rooftop is under construction and penetration of the roof for erection of structural steel columns and stairways will be underway shortly.

The schedule calls for construction of the shell and enclosure for the Rooftop Lounge and when completed the exterior roof will be removed and the reinforced concrete slab/floor will be poured.

We are pleased to report that so far there have relatively few surprises for a renovation project, and all of which have been resolved.

Fundraising

Member donations have reached the halfway point in our budget goal for this year.  We need to raise another $700,000 to fully complete the Rooftop Project, which does not include renovation of the second floor ballroom and existing bar.

We are pleased to report that we have received donations from over 150 members and several large donations which are filling out our Donor Pyramid.
