Membership
Become a Member in the Summit Elks
To be eligible for membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, you must be a citizen of the United States over the age of 21 who believes in God.
How to apply:
Any member in good standing who has registered their membership with elks.org can sponsor a candidate here.
You’ll also need two other Elks who will be your references. Please follow all instructions and answer all questions in the application link you receive.
Your application will be read at a regular lodge meeting. It will then be forwarded to the Investigating Committee, with whom you will set up a time to meet for an interview.
After the interview is concluded, your candidacy will be voted on by the members at a lodge meeting.
After the vote is concluded, you will receive an invitation to initiation.
After initiation as an Elk, you can take part in all meetings and social functions of the Lodge.
If for any reason your application is rejected, you can submit a new application for membership after six months from the date of rejection.
For more information, visit the Lodge or contact us here.
Has Your membership Lapsed?
If you want your membership in the Summit Lodge reinstated, you must first pay the reinstatement fee here. Once your payment is received, your reinstatement will be voted on by the members at our next lodge meeting. If you are voted in, you will receive your membership card within one month.
