#GivingTuesday may have passed, but the spirit of giving is still alive!
This week, the ENF celebrated #GivingTuesday— a nationally recognized day of giving back. After the excitement of Black Friday and Cyber Monday savings, are you ready to give back this holiday season?
Sunday, November 11, 2018, is Veterans Day. At the eleventh minute of the 11th hour of this day we should all take a minute to remember our veterans, especially those who sacrificed all so that we can live in a free society.
To commemorate our veterans I am attaching below how the Elks started what is now the Veterans Administration. See below:
Read DD Vince Ditta's important message on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2018. We should all honor our Veterans for their sacrifices above and beyond the call of duty.
Read DD Rochford's moving message of what Elks do to help our Veterans, especially those that are homeless or newly moved into permanent housing. No vet should be homeless but the Elks have stepped to the plate to help those vets in need.
The crane that was to help with the erection of steel for our Rooftop Project today broke down, and the work has been cancelled.
So the Lodge is open! Our acting Secretary and intrepid chef Greg Mills will be preparing a nice buffet for all those who want to drop into the Lodge to watch football or just socialize.
